A church community in suburban Philadelphia asked, "What can we do to control our energy costs?" From that question, many fun ideas emerged. However, the community had a lightbulb moment (thank you) when they considered sourcing renewable energy directly from a system on their land.

Brooks collaborated with other specialists and formed a team to assess financial considerations, incentives, contracts, and other due diligence.
The church's leadership decided to move forward with the project because it made sense for various reasons: financially prudent, ecologically responsible, and values-aligned.
